Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Fingerprinting must be done in person at the Richmond or Surrey office and is by appointment only — we cannot accept walk-ins.
How long does it take?
The in-office appointment usually takes 15–20 minutes. RCMP processing times depend on the type of check.
What should I bring?
Two pieces of valid government-issued ID (at least one with a photo) and any letter from the requesting organization.
