Terms of Service

1. Seller and contracting party

TEST PREP ("we", "us", "our", or the "Service") is operated by Canadian International Business Development CORP, a corporation registered in British Columbia, Canada ("Company"). By using the Service, you are entering into an agreement with the Company.

2. Acceptance of these Terms of Service

By accessing, registering for, purchasing, or continuing to use the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization. If you are an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

3. The Service

The Service provides online practice questions, mock exams, study materials, and progress tracking to help users prepare for Canadian provincial driver's licence knowledge tests. The Service is for educational preparation only and is not affiliated with ICBC, the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, or any other provincial licensing authority.

4. Accounts and credentials

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must not share account access, resell access, or allow others to use your subscription.

5. Acceptable use and misuse

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, spam, abusive, or deceptive purpose;
  • infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of the Company or any third party;
  • interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including by introducing malware, probing for vulnerabilities, scraping, or circumventing technical limits;
  • resell, redistribute, sublicense, copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Service except where permitted by law;
  • attempt to bypass authentication, payment, subscription, entitlement, or usage controls.

6. Intellectual property and licence

The Service, including its content, software, question banks, documentation, branding, and design, is owned by the Company and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms of Service, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for your personal study purposes within the plan you have purchased.

7. Payment, subscriptions, billing, and renewals

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Stripe. Stripe is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Stripe provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payments, billing, taxes, cancellations, subscription renewals, and refund mechanics are governed by Stripe's Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms of Service.

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis at the price displayed at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel renewal at any time through the Stripe customer portal accessible from your account settings. Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise handled by Stripe. See our Refund Policy for refund details.

8. Service level and no warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free performance, and we do not guarantee that practice content will match any current official exam. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Passing or failing your official driving test is your sole responsibility.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, with or without notice, for material breach of these Terms of Service, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, chargeback abuse, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and closing your account.

11. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts located in British Columbia, Canada.
