Minister LeBlanc updates provincial and territorial ministers responsible for International Trade on CUSMA Joint Review

The Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, President of the King's Privy Council for Canada and Minister responsible for Canada-U.S. Trade, Intergovernmental Affairs, Internal Trade, and One Canadian Economy, met with provincial and territorial ministers responsible for International Trade. This meeting included Canada's Chief Trade Negotiator to the United States, the Honourable Janice Charette.

The primary purpose of the meeting was to discuss Canada-U.S. trade relations. Minister LeBlanc provided an update regarding the Joint Review of the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA).

This update followed a trilateral meeting of the CUSMA Free Trade Commission, which took place on July 1. These discussions are crucial for maintaining and adapting trade frameworks that impact various Canadian industries and professionals.
